I didn’t know much about windows when I started at Pella. I thought they were all much the same – they are not. Learning the product and language took a bit of practice, but I ended up figuring it out. As I learned more my content improved, I streamlined the process so I could worry more about the quality of the content rather than triple-checking to make sure my work was correct.
I wrote blog posts, documented and posted completed window installations across multiple social media platforms, curated a company newsletter, and attended regional home shows representing Pella.
Blog Posts
A few blog posts I wrote. These two are my personal favorites because I was able to weave Pella’s brand with the local flavor of Richmond, one of primary goals when creating.
One of my primary duties at Pella was to photograph and post completed and ongoing projects. In doing so, I was on the front lines of developing their brand. Frequently posting beautiful completed projects spoke volumes for the company.
